Fantastic Reasons to Love Bee & Tea

REASONS TO LOVE BEE & TEA

Discover More About Designer-Maker Bee & Tea

Bee & Tea is a partnership between sisters, Bridget and Natasha Chetwynd; combining Bridget’s artistic talents with Natasha’s business flair.

Inspired by childhood visits to their Granny in Normandy, they both have a deep love of flowers, gardens, beautiful objects, home-grown produce and cooking. Influences that shine through in their Bee & Tea gift range.

Since graduating from the Wimbledon School of Art, Bridget’s artistic talent has flourished and she has worked extensively as a theatre designer, children’s book illustrator and designer of greetings cards for Camden Graphics.

Today Bridget’s background is used to create the unique gifts and homewares of Bee & Tea.

The Artistic Touch

Drawing on Bridget’s background in painting and design, her strong aesthetics and sense of humour, Bee & Tea products combine vibrant colours, minimalist Japanese design and classic kitchenware motifs. Designs focus on beautifully painted still life and floral themes that have long featured in Bridget’s greetings card designs and gallery exhibitions.

Bee & Tea’s collection of gorgeous British homewares includes: screen printed tea towels, tote bags, aprons, limited edition Giclée prints and fine bone china mugs.

Each gift product is beautifully decorated with a print based on Bridget’s original botanical watercolour paintings.

Bee & Tea Support Great British Makers

Supporting English manufacturers is integral to the Bee & Tea philosophy and Bridget and Natasha carefully select small family-run businesses that pride themselves in their craftsmanship to produce the range. Bee & Tea’s fine bone china mugs are made in a factory in Stoke-on-Trent run by three brothers, while fabrics for tote bags and aprons are produced by a small friendly manufacturer in Lincolnshire.
