How to Send Your Letter to Santa

Time’s Running Out to Get Your Letter to Santa.

It wouldn’t really be Christmas without Santa (or Father Christmas if you prefer) and top of the traditions where Santa is concerned is letter writing. Yep, good old-fashioned letter writing and snail mail, albeit with a dusting of Christmas magic.

In the run up to the big day, children from all over the world will be sending their letters to Father Christmas and hoping they make it on to this year’s nice list.

Here in the UK it’s super simple to make sure your letter gets to Santa Claus (thanks to Royal Mail) but there are a few rules to follow so your letter doesn’t get lost. So here’s how you send your letter to santa:

~ Send your letter as early as possible. We all know this is a very busy time for Santa & the elves so don’t leave it till the last minute.

~ Remember the deadline. You need to get your letter sent by Friday 9th December so Santa has time to reply to you.

~ Write the Address Carefully (shown below). There’s more post at Christmas than any other time of year so it’s very important that you write the address carefully on a stamped envelope. Mums and Dads can do this bit for younger letter writers.

~Include Your Name & Address so you can get a reply back before Christmas Day.

That’s it. Follow those simple steps and your letter will make it to the Grotto.

& don’t forget, Santa will be looking forward to delivering your presents on Christmas Eve but it’s a very big job so leave him a mince pie and a carrot for Rudolph to keep them going.
