6 Reasons Love From Lemonade Cards Will Make You Smile

6 Reasons You’ll Be Head Over Heels for Love From Lemonade Cards.

**UPDATE: Sadly Love from Lemonade decided to close their business on the 30th November 2015. We’re sad to lose their delightful greeting cards, but wish Sarah, Cathy & Murray all the best in their future endeavours.**

We’re delighted to welcome the Love From Lemonade cards collection to the Piccadilly Lane community. Formed in 2010 by Sarah Britton, Cathy Haworth and Murray Thomson, Love From Lemonade create quirky greetings cards to make people smile. Like all of the card and gift companies we showcase here in the Piccadilly Lane directory, Love From Lemonade is a fabulous independent company with an amazing webshop, jam-packed with lovely greetings cards that we think you will love. To give you a taster of what they’re about here are a few reasons why we adore Love From Lemonade.

1. Love from Lemonade Cards are All About Great Design.

The beautifully designed greeting cards of Love From Lemonade are created by resident graphic designer and illustrator Cathy. Describing her style of work as playing, Cathy is responsible for all the wonderful doodling that brings the cards to life. Cathy loves creating layers using whatever medium she has to hand: crayons, pencils, oils, watercolours, photos, fabrics, sometimes fingers (she’s usually covered in it all too!). The wide variety of artistic styles and inspiration creates a set of quirky greetings with a touch of charm.

2. The LFL Team Only Make Quality Greeting Cards.

With Love From Lemonade you can rest assured you’re getting quality greetings cards designed and developed with tonnes of experience. While Cathy has over 12 years’ experience as a designer and illustrator, Sarah has over 20 years’ experience working with print production and Murray is a Director of Apple Colour, which has over 150 years’ experience in the print industry. This in depth knowledge of the industry means every element from the card stock to the print finish is top quality.

3. Designer Cathy Has Created a Huge Variety of Cards.

Love From Lemonade proudly state they have a greetings card for every occasion (plus a few extra they made up) and we’re happy to see that this is absolutely true! Ranging from luxurious, pretty cards to cute character-based designs there’s a card for everyone. With Father’s Day approaching on 15th June, we’re delighted to see that their extensive card collection also has some great designs for Dad.

4. Love from Lemonade is a Super Cute British Brand.

Love From Lemonade are proud of their British roots and are keen to champion British craftsmanship. All of their greetings cards are made right here is the UK, enabling them to support local business. By choosing a card from the Love From Lemonade collection you too can share that “feel good” feeling knowing you’re supporting local craftsmanship.

5. The LFL Founders Pride Themselves on Great Customer Service.

Equally important as the wonderful designs, Love From Lemonade are committed to providing an excellent level of customer service. It’s Sarah’s job – one of them, anyway – to make your Love From Lemonade experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. It’s this personal touch that we adore, if only more big companies behaved like independents!

6. All Love from Lemonade Cards are Eco-Friendly.

Last but not least, we adore the Love From Lemonade Eco-philosophy. Determined to do their best and keep their business as green as possible Love From Lemonade are keen to become an environmentally friendly company that stays true to their beliefs. This means all the materials used to create their cards are either recycled, recyclable or both; a great option for those seeking environmentally responsible greetings cards.

So that’s half a dozen reasons why we adore the Love From Lemonade cards and the team behind them.
